The condition of your tyres and the choice of manufacturer are very important to the performance of your vehicle. 

It is important that you regularly check the tyre pressure for high performance, reliability and durability. Over-inflated tyres can damage the tyre structure and will cause wear to the centre of the tyre, whilst under-inflated tyre will call cause irregular tyre wear and damage to the side wall. 

It is also very vital to check the tread of the tyre. The deeper the tread depth the more grip your tyres will have. Do not let your tread depths wear down to the raised rubber strips at the bottom of the main tread grooves as this indicates there is only 1.6 mm of tread remaining. According to the Law the tyre should have a minimum of 1.6 mm of tread across the centre three-quarters of the tyre. These are minimum standards and should not be regarded as the norm
